Our challenge for a new stage
Nippon Denkai, Ltd. is delighted to announce that our company’s stock has been approved by Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. as a new listing on the TSE Mothers market on June 25th, 2021 (code: 5759).
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our business partners, investors, employees and their families.
We have been in business for 63 years, with a long history in the manufacturing of electrodeposited copper foil. At the same time, we are also in the stage of re-establishment, increasing vitality through the manufacturing of electrodeposited copper foil for EV batteries and high frequency printed circuit boards.
To increase our production capacity, and to cope with the growing demand of high performance copper foil, we have made the following investments.
- July 2018
- Established a new manufacturing plant in Chikusei.
- March 2020
- Acquired Denkai America Inc. (DAI), and made the only manufacturer of electrodeposited copper foil in North America into an affiliate.
- 2022
- DAI’s production lines would be partly modified into EV battery copper foil lines.
With the opportunity presented by this listing, we would pursue even more to match with the changing market demand. We also aim to cooperate closely with our local customers, making full use of our advantages in having manufacturing bases both in Japan and in the U.S.
